PRINCE ALBERT, Saskatchewan (NEWS 1130) – An Alberta man, who used an online dating site to meet a victim whom he killed and dismembered, has a new dating profile up.

Mark Twitchell murdered a man in an Edmonton garage almost a decade ago and is serving life in prison.

According to his profile on Canadian Inmates Connect, he’s made some “terrible, regrettable choices” and has come to terms with the consequences.

Twitchell writes, his creative engine never slows, and he constantly produces artwork, novels, and screenplays.

He’s apparently looking for an “open-minded, delightfully-imperfect woman to share amusing observations with”. Twitchell, 37, goes on to say there’s a potential in the future to spend a long weekend together.

In 2008, Johnny Altinger thought he was going to get together with a woman he met online but instead was murdered. Twitchell told the court he lured Altinger to the garage to create online buzz for a film he was making about a serial killer like the character on the TV show, Dexter.
