VANCOUVER (NEWS 1130) – It’s not the NBA, but some well-known basketball players are in BC for the next few days.
The Harlem Globetrotters will be in Abbotsford tonight, after a game over in Victoria last night.
‘Buckets’ Blakes, who plays for the Globetrotters, says if come out to watch you can expect to see some skill shots you don’t often see in the NBA.

“We have a four-point line that’s 30 feet away from the basket. That’s six feet further than the NBA three-point line, so that’s pretty awesome. That’s a far shot,” says Blakes.
“The Globetrotters are the home team everywhere we go, so we get a big draw here in Vancouver and it’s pretty awesome.”
