Man airlifted off a beach in White Rock

WHITE ROCK (NEWS1130) – A man had to be airlifted to hospital this afternoon after making a crash-landing on East Beach near White Rock.
Witnesses say he came down riding a motorized ultralight glider from 300 feet in the air.
“He has since been medivaced out by BC Ambulance and he was conscious and breathing when he was medivacted out.”
RCMP Constable Chantelle Sears says this is the first time she’s had to respond to a crash like this.
There’s no word yet on the man’s identity.
