Second victim identified in East Vancouver double homicide

VANCOUVER (NEWS 1130) – There are still no arrests following last Thursday’s shooting on East 31st Avenue near Ross Street, which left two men dead.
49-year-old Harjit Singh Mann of Surrey has now been identified as the second victim in the killing. Mann died at the scene while 32-year-old Navdip Singh Sanghera died in the hospital.
The murders are Vancouver fifth and sixth of 2017.
Officers responded to the shooting at around 9:30 a.m. on March 9th. When they arrived, they found two men with gunshot wounds sitting inside a car.
Both the Vancouver Police Major Crime Section and Gang Crime Unit have been brought in to handle the case.
