VANCOUVER (NEWS 1130) – The family of Wendy Ladner-Beaudry is renewing pleas for information on her death, eight years after her body was discovered in a Vancouver park.
The 53-year-old mother of two was found off a trail in Pacific Spirit Park near UBC – a place she liked to go jogging – on April 3rd, 2009.
Police have spoken to hundreds of people of interest since Ladner-Beaudry’s death, but no arrests have been made.
“Over the years our investigators have worked tirelessly to find out what happened to Wendy and to solve this crime. We can’t do it alone,” says Inspector Steve Cocks, Senior Investigative Services Officer with the RCMP’s Major Crime unit. “We are appealing to the public to come forward with any information they may have about this case.”
A $30,000 reward for information about her murder has been on offer since last year.
