Fire destroys barn at Willow View Farms in Abbotsford

ABBOTSFORD (NEWS 1130) – A farm and tourist attraction in Abbotsford has been badly damaged by fire.
The barn at Willow View Farms on McCallum Road was destroyed in the fire that broke out just after 7 a.m.
“Crews were able to get a quick attack on it and protect the exposed structures. But the barn was a total loss,” explains Assistant Fire Chief Ron Hull.
No one was hurt.
“The business should be able to get up and running in a short period of time… It’s a storefront, but it didn’t affect their fields or a lot of other areas,” adds Hull.
The flames are out, and fire crews are still trying to figure where and why it started, but at this time there’s no suspicion it was deliberately set.
