Newborn baby found abandoned in Toronto

TORONTO (NEWS 1130) – Toronto police say a baby has been rushed to the hospital after being found outside a building in the city’s west end.
Police say child is a newborn and say the baby’s health is in jeopardy.
They say the baby had been abandoned outside.
Someone found the baby boy and took him home and called for help. The baby was then taken to the hospital.
Paramedics rushed to the scene and took the baby to the hospital. Police say they didn’t know how long the baby had been outside, but it wasn’t wearing any clothes when it was found.
The temperature was around -6 C.
Police add they are concerned for the mother, as the likely needs medical attention.
