VANCOUVER (NEWS 1130) – Here’s your chance to help out children’s charities in BC.
The 28th annual Canucks for Kids Fund Telethon is underway.
Tonight, Riaz Meghji from Breakfast Television on City and Perry Solkowki from our friends at Sportsnet 650 will host the televised portion of the event, which raised almost $295,000 last year.
Helping out is as easy as watching the Vancouver Canucks take on the Chicago Blackhawks tonight at Rogers Arena, and calling the toll-free number: 1-85-KIDSFUND (1-855-437-3863)
If you’re at the game, you can also donate at one of the many booths that will be set up around Rogers Arena.
You can also donate online now.
Donor who give $100 will receive an exclusive photo featuring Brock Boeser celebrating his first career hat trick from his record-setting rookie season. If you donate $150 or more, you will also get a second photo, commemorating Daniel Sedin’s 1,000th NHL point, which he recorded earlier this season.
