Vancouver records 10th homicide of the year

VANCOUVER (NEWS 1130) – The Vancouver Police Department is now looking into the city’s 10th homicide of the year.
Police say 26-year-old Abeal Negussie Abera was stabbed in the Downtown Eastside on June 23rd during a fight in the area of West Hastings and Abbott Street. He was taken to hospital, but died from his injuries last night.
No one has been arrested but investigators say they believe the attack was targeted. “There is no risk to the general public,” a release reads.
