ABBOTSFORD (NEWS 1130) – The man charged in the killing of an Abbotsford Police officer is expected in court today.
Oscar Arfmann has been behind bars since last November, days after Cst. John Davidson died after he was shot.
Arfmann’s first-degree murder trial is expected to begin in January.
Davidson, 53, was among several officers who had responded to a report of a stolen vehicle near a strip mall on Mount Lehman Road.
Davidson had been with the force for over a decade. He had previously spent time serving as an officer in the U.K.
The police department recently unveiled a plaque on its Wall of Heroes to remember the officer.
