Police note a new biker club with ties to the Hells Angels in Fort Langley

FORT LANGLEY (NEWS 1130) — Police are warning the public about a biker club, with ties to the Hells Angels, making some inroads in the Fort Langley area.

Sergeant Brenda Winpenny, with the Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit of B.C., says the ‘Street Reapers’ Motorcycle Club is closely associated with the Hardside Chapter of the Hells Angels in Surrey. Though she says the Street Reapers number anywhere between six to 10 members, it is of interest to police.

“They would be there because of some kind of affiliation,” Winpenny says. “There is something that is drawing them to Fort Langley and that’ll be something that our officers would be monitoring closely.”

She adds the members are associated with the Hells Angels, who have a history of violence, weapons and drug offences. At this point, however, there hasn’t been any criminal activity of note with the Street Reapers in Fort Langley.
