69-year-old man killed in Vancouver shooting

VANCOUVER (NEWS 1130) – Vancouver Police are investigating the city’s second homicide of the year.
One man is dead after a shooting on Fraser Street and East 51st Ave. He has been identified as 69-year-old Zenen Cepeda Silva.
It happened just before midnight on Saturday night. Police believe the man was shot as he walked towards the front of a home.
Silva was later pronounced dead in hospital.
Officers say the shooting was likely targeted, and the public is not at risk.
They also say the shooter had taken off before police got on scene and are asking anyone with information to contact police.
