Driver in multi-car crash in Vancouver dies in hospital

VANCOUVER (NEWS 1130) – The driver in a crash that snarled traffic near Clark Drive and Venables for a few hours on Feb. 4 has died of his injuries.
Police said Feb. 13 that the 23-year-old driver of a Honda Civic died in hospital.

Just before noon on Feb. 4, the Civic was travelling south on Clark Drive in the lanes for northbound traffic.
Police said it was going at a high rate of speed, and clipped a Subaru and an Infinity. The Civic also rear-ended a delivery truck. The occupants of the Subaru, an adult and a small child, were taken to hospital as a precaution.
