Moose on the loose: Animal shatters its way into Fort St. John School District office

FORT ST. JOHN (NEWS 1130) – The Fort St. John School District got an unexpected visitor on Thursday.

The B.C. Conservation Officer Service says a moose barged its way into the school district’s building.

“Today a moose decided it was not too cool for school and broke its way in and out of a Ft. St. John School District office,” a cheeky tweet by the BCCOS reads. “Why we are not sure. Unfortunately the moose had not learned how to open doors prior.”

An image posted online shows shattered glass all over the floor, but no other significant, visible damage, considering what happened.

The BCCOS says the moose was eventually found, and was deemed to be just fine, “all things considered.”
