Rihanna now follows Jagmeet Singh on Twitter — does that count as an endorsement?

Does a follow on Instagram count as an endorsement?

If so, then you could say Rihanna is now a fan of the NDP’s Jagmeet Singh.

Rihanna fans noticed the follow today and assumed she was throwing her support behind the NDP Leader.

But — to throw a wrench in that theory — she already follows Liberal Leader Justin Trudeau.

Either way, it’s a big deal to be followed by the star.

She has 78.8 million Instagram followers, but only follows just over 1,400 people.
