ABBOTSFORD (NEWS 1130) – Fans of the Hallmark Channel’s Christmas films have been flocking to Abbotsford this weekend to soak up a bit of ‘movie magic’ on Mt. Lehman Road.
Six homeowners along that stretch of road have been opening up their homes to fans of the numerous Christmas holiday movies that the Hallmark Channel has shot in them.

Jodi Warkentin says people who’ve been travelling out to visit their famous homes are also impressed by the overall feel of their community.
“Kids bike around delivering eggs, and neighbours know each other, and it’s a really special place to be,” she says. “So, when the Hallmark movie crews come here, they laugh and say to us ‘this is like a Hallmark movie for real.'”
Warkentin and the other “Hallmark homeowners” are giving the admission fees they charge to the International Justice Mission.
So far, the homeowners have raised around $30,000 for the international charity.
