Two out of three B.C. damage claims from Lower Mainland: ICBC

VANCOUVER (NEWS 1130) — ICBC has logged more than 6,300 damage claims across the province since Friday.
Lower Mainland drivers account for two out of three reports filed. Monday’s damage is still being tallied up.
One driver called into NEWS 1130 after an ice-bomb smashed his windshield on the Port Mann Bridge on Friday.
Updated numbers involving ice falling from local bridge cables on Friday include 82 claims for the Port Mann and 47 for the Alex Fraser.
So far, the Golden Ears crossing has only recorded two cases of ice damaging a vehicle.
