VANCOUVER (NEWS 1130) – A number of TD Bank customers were having trouble logging in to their online accounts.
The issue was resolved in the afternoon.
According to TD, it was all because of technical issues, which are also impacting the bank’s app, but it’s unclear what exactly the problem is.
“We are currently experiencing a technical issue with our online and mobile banking channels. We apologize for this inconvenience and appreciate your patience as we work as quickly as possible to resolve this issue,” a statement from TD to NEWS 1130 reads — similar to messages the bank has sent to Twitter users who took to social media to air their grievances.
We're aware that some customers are having trouble logging into EasyWeb and our mobile app. We're working to resolve and apologize for any inconvenience.

“It’s not been too frustrating because I knew they had been having technical issues,” Julia Johnson, one of the many people impacted by the ongoing glitch, said on Friday. “Had I not, I probably would have been frustrated.”
However, many other customers weren’t as understanding.
“Really starting to become a trend.. always last day of the month…” one Twitter user wrote, adding no fees should be taken from their account.
“ETA??? need to get into my account for rent. I dont (sic) want to explain to my property manager that I have the money but cant (sic) access it,” another tweeted.
Some people have reported being able to get into their accounts, but it appears the issue is still unresolved for others.
While people have been facing issues online and on their smartphones, TD says customers are still able to make purchases with their cards.
