ABBOTSFORD (NEWS 1130) — A man convicted of multiple sex offenses was released from prison recently and will be residing in Mission, according to police.
Taylor Albert Dueck, 25, has committed multiple sexual assaults–including at least one with a weapon, and one where the victim was under 16 years old.
“Dueck has been deemed a high risk to re-offend sexually and poses a risk to the safety of female children under the age of 18 years old,” says a release from Mission RCMP.
The same warning was issued by Abbotsford Police when he was released on Feb. 3. According to Mission RCMP, Dueck now resides there.
He is bound by strict conditions, and Mounties are asking anyone who sees him in violation to contact police.
Dueck has a curfew requiring him to stay at home between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m.
He is also not allowed be in possession of or under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Weapons are similarly prohibited.
Police say not to approach Dueck if you see him breaching these conditions, and to instead call 911.
The warning has been issued in the “interest of public safety.”
