Grouse Mountain to start gradual reopening June 22

VANCOUVER (NEWS 1130) — Grouse Mountain has announced its reopening plans after shutting down for more than two months.
“We want to thank you for your patience during this unprecedented time, allowing us to address the ongoing challenges of COVID-19 and focus on the health and safety of our team and community,” says a statement from Grouse.
The popular tourist attraction says it will be welcoming guests in phases, with annual passholders and download-only guests allowed to ride again starting June 22.

Capacity on the Skyride will be reduced by 70 per cent to allow physical distancing and everyone will need to wear a facemask while boarding, travelling, and disembarking.
Masks will be provided, though, it is being encouraged people bring their own.
People will also get their temperature checked before riding.
Enhanced cleaning procedures and hand sanitizing stations will be implemented upon reopening too.
Grouse Mountain has been closed since mid-March due to concerns of COVID-19.
