Abbotsford police finds abandoned vehicle that had been shot at

ABBOTSFORD: (NEWS 1130) — Abbotsford Police officers located an unoccupied vehicle after reports of shot fired late Saturday.
The vehicle had been shot at and was located in the 31000 block of Upper Maclure Road, near Nadeau Park.
Officers are looking for witnesses, as well as any video recorded in the area between 10:30 p.m. and midnight.

Meanwhile, gunfire was reported in Langley Saturday night — the latest in a string of violent events on the Lower Mainland this past week.
Calls of shots fired came in just after 8:30 p.m. Saturday, according to Langley RCMP.
Vehicles reportedly sped off. No one was injured.
Police were also called early Friday about reports of a shooting in the area of 212th Street and 42nd Avenue in Langley. When they arrived, officers found two people hurt, including a 35-year-old man who appeared to have been assaulted, and a 29-year-old man who had apparently been shot.

Earlier in the week, three people were killed at two separate locations in Vancouver
Wednesday night, two people were “found unresponsive in a room” at the Astoria Hotel along East Hastings just before 7:30 p.m. One victim was pronounced dead at the scene, the other died at hospital, according to police.
Shortly after, police were called to the area of 64th Avenue, west of Knight Street, they found a victim dead in front of a house.
The murders at the two locations are not connected, according to VPD.
