Hundreds of people volunteered their time to search for her, helping police comb nearby areas last week.
People who did not know Hunt personally have offered to lend a hand, and a virutal candlelight vigil was held Sunday.
“The best part of having a community is to be able to help each other out and knowing that we can depend on each other. I feel proud of our neighbourhood and our community and how much they’ve been able to come together and help with the search,” neighbour Barb Anderson told NEWS 1130. “We may not know Trina, but her story touched us so deeply.”
The 48-year-old hasn’t been seen since Jan. 18 around 6 a.m. near her home. Hunt is described as 5’4″ tall and weighs about 120 pounds. She is thought to be wearing a puffy black Northface jacket with a teal green collar and purple running shoes.
She was reported missing the same day by her husband after he returned home from work to an empty home and couldn’t find her.
Anyone with information about Hunt’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Port Moody Police Department’s non-emergency line at 604-461-3456.
Police are seeking dashcam or surveillance footage taken on Heritage Mountain on Jan. 18 between the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
