VANCOUVER (NEWS 1130) – In honour of International Women’s Day, the branding on JACK 96.9 will be a little different on Monday.
Our sister station is switching to JILL 96.9 to mark the occasion.
JILL will spend the day playing songs from incredible female artists. Catch the likes of Joan, Cyndi, Ann & Nancy, Madonna, Dolly, Aretha, Stevie, Alanis, Joni, Adele, Sarah, Whitney, Serena, Debbie, and more throughout the day.
As part of the International Women’s Day celebration, Lena Shulman will be hosting JILL Up the 80s — a twist on the usual JACK Up the 80s hosted by Larry — at noon.
The station will also on Monday be hosting its first-ever JILLith Fair — an all-star collection of live tracks from favourite JILL artists.
In a year that’s been lacking in live events and concerts, make sure to tune in for this live “show”.
