Answer:
The first step to getting a COVID-19 vaccine in B.C. is registering with the provincial government so you’re in the system for your second dose.
According to the B.C. Government website, everyone must register with the Get Vaccinated system, even those who got their first dose at work so you can be contacted when it’s time for your second shot.
Health care workers are among those who have to register online, even if they received their first dose before the B.C. government registration site launched.
Doctors of B.C. is also asking doctors, other health care providers, and medical office assistants who received their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine to register on the provincial website to ensure they are contacted with an invitation for their second dose.
By registering, workers will be able to give the provincial registry their current contact information so it’s easy to reach them when it’s time.
