Vancouver’s Olympic cauldron lit up in honour of Tokyo 2020

VANCOUVER (NEWS 1130) — One of the endearing symbols of the Vancouver 2010 Games will be shining bright Friday.
The cauldron at Jack Poole Plaza will be burning bright, in honour of Team Canada to mark the start of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.

The Vancouver Convention Centre and PavCo are lighting it up between 6:00 and 9:00 p.m.
The cauldron will be lit-up again on August 24th, to mark the start of the Paralympic Games.
