Richmond police investigating reported kidnapping

Mounties in Richmond say they are investigating a reported kidnapping that took place Friday evening.
Officers were called to the parking lot of the Bamboo Grove Restaurant, located on No. 3 Road near Granville Avenue, shortly after 10 p.m.
“Police were called after a witness reported seeing a man possibly being forced into a pickup truck by two males shortly after leaving a nearby business,” the RCMP said.
“Officers attended the area and reviewed surveillance footage, which suggests the vehicle involved may have been a dark coloured Ford F 150.”
