CHILLIWACK (NEWS 1130) — Another school in the Lower Mainland has been impacted by an outbreak.
Just a day after Promontory Heights elementary school in Chilliwack was closed due to an outbreak involving 20 individuals, another cluster of cases has forced the partial shut down of Maple Ridge Christian School.
Fraser Health says 32 people, both staff and students, have COVID.
“Maple Ridge Christian School will remain open to in-person instruction for grade six and above while Fraser Health undertakes case and contact management. Fraser Health is collaborating with the school as part of the outbreak response,” a release from Fraser Health reads.
Contract tracing has been initiated to identify other people possibly affected.
