VANCOUVER (NEWS 1130) — The Vancouver Giants are playing their first game at the Langley Events Centre since February on Friday night, but they will only be playing to half the crowd they usually would.
The venue is running at 50 per cent capacity, with tonight’s game against the Prince George Cougars starting at 7:30 p.m.
Still, there will be thousands of people in the same building there, making COVID-19 safety a priority.
“Vaccination proof with passports need to be shown before you can gain entry and everyone has to be wearing masks,” said Jack Froese, mayor of the Township of Langley.
