Grouse Mountain, Whistler Blackcomb see snow mid-October

NORTH VANCOUVER (NEWS 1130) — Less than a month into fall, winter has hit some of the North Shore mountains pretty hard.
Grouse Mountain says it got 13 cm of snow Tuesday and overnight.
The resort is encouraging anyone hoping to hit the slopes soon to get an early bird pass.

Whistler Blackcomb is also covered in snow Wednesday, cushioned by lofty clouds and blue sky.
Whistler and Grouse are a pair of popular B.C. ski resorts laying down the law when it comes to ensuring their staff are fully vaccinated before the season starts.
