Prime Minister Justin Trudeau will be in B.C. Friday to view firsthand the devastation caused to Abbotsford during recent flooding.

It’s unclear when exactly he will be touching down in the province, but he is expected to be on the Lower Mainland sometime in the late morning or early afternoon.

After spending some time in Abbotsford, where he is to meet with Mayor Henry Braun, Trudeau is set to travel to Victoria and meet with Premier John Horgan at 4:30 p.m., according to his itinerary.

Trudeau will also meet with Deputy Premier Mike Farnworth, Sumas First Nation Chief Alice McKay, members of the Canadian Armed Forces, first responders, and volunteers who have been on the ground since the storm hit last week.
