Prime Minister Justin Trudeau will be in B.C. Friday to view firsthand the devastation caused to Abbotsford during recent flooding.
It’s unclear when exactly he will be touching down in the province, but he is expected to be on the Lower Mainland sometime in the late morning or early afternoon.
After spending some time in Abbotsford, where he is to meet with Mayor Henry Braun, Trudeau is set to travel to Victoria and meet with Premier John Horgan at 4:30 p.m., according to his itinerary.

In the days following last week’s torrential rain and flooding, Trudeau spoke about the response, reiterating he and the federal government would provide support to British Columbia.
Some of that aid has come in the form of the Canadian Armed Forces support, with members having already arrived in B.C. from Edmonton to help with planning and coordinating relief efforts in impacted areas.
Canada Public Safety Minister Bill Blair also announced thousands of Canadian troops were on standby to be deployed if necessary.
