Three targeted shootings in three days in Surrey ‘concerning’: RCMP

Violence has broken out in several Surrey neighbourhoods in recent days, sending three people to hospital and prompting an appeal from the RCMP for information.

Mounties say among the victims was a 58-year-old woman who was shot in a driveway over the weekend.

Investigators say the shooting is believed to be targeted, but she was not the intended target.

It happened on Saturday around 5 p.m. near 95A Avenue and 133 Street.

She was sent to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
