Fundraiser for Naomi Onotera raises over $10,000 in three days

Friends of Naomi Onotera have put together a GoFundMe page which raised nearly $14,000 in less than a week.

Alex Lohcham and Kylie Hannan, friends of Onotera’s sister say they put together the fundraiser to help the family during this “tough time.”

“The funds are going to go directly towards Naomi’s remaining family. Her two-year-old daughter will get any proceeds after any expenses,” says Lohcham.

The fundraiser goal is set at $25,000 to cover “expenses related to the case.”

“Anything that Naomi’s daughter will need over the next while will be covered by the proceeds and the rest will go into savings for her,” Lohcham explains.
