RCMP initially reported she was shot, but updated information revealed she was stabbed. Although she was not shot, police say there is evidence a shooting also took place at the home.

Surrey RCMP Sgt. Elenore Sturko says multiple people who were at the home were arrested.

“We are working to determine what the relationship is amongst the individuals where this occurred and whether there are any connections to criminal activity,” Sturko said.

“It does appear at this time to be isolated with no threat to the public,” she said.
