Two people are seriously hurt after a shooting in Surrey late Tuesday.
Surrey RCMP say shots were fired around 11:30 p.m. in the area of 104 Avenue and 168 Street. A man was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. A woman is also hospitalized in serious condition.

“Early signs looking into the individual that was shot, I can tell you that this shooting may be related to the Lower Mainland gang conflict,” said Cpl. Sarbjit Sangha with Surrey RCMP.
She notes the man and woman were inside the vehicle when the shooting happened. There’s currently no risk to the public, Sangha adds.
The Surrey RCMP’s Serious Crimes Unit is leading the investigation. Due to the life-threatening injuries of one of victims, the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team has also been called in.
No arrests have been made.
Footage from the scene early Wednesday showed a car with a tarp over part of it as investigators canvassed the area.
The RCMP has traffic at the intersection of 104 Avenue and 168 Street blocked off, as well as 104 Avenue between 167 and 168 streets.
