81-year-old in Burnaby missing: RCMP

Burnaby RCMP is asking for the public’s help to find a missing senior.

Benjamin Pederson is 81 years old and was last seen Friday around 10:30 a.m. at Dania Manor, a care home in Burnaby near Norland Avenue and Canada Way.

“Being away for this long is out of character for Benjamin. He has some medical issues and may seem confused,” a statement from the RCMP reads. “He is known to frequent Metrotown and often travels to Surrey.”

“We are very concerned for Benjamin’s well-being.”

Pederson is 5’6″, with wavy white hair, blue eyes, and no facial hair. He was wearing a blue shirt, blue jeans and black and white sneakers.
