Surrey RCMP warn of man who exposed himself outside high school

Surrey RCMP are warning the public after students reported a man repeatedly exposing and touching himself near their high school.

Last Wednesday police responded to a call about a man performing indecent acts in the bushes near Princess Margaret Secondary.

Before classes started that morning, a student saw the man in a wooded area on the south end of the school property.

Although RCMP say this was the first time the incident was reported to them, they say the suspect was seen in the same area, doing the same thing on three separate occasions this year, and once in 2021.

All incidents reportedly happened between 8:20 and 8:30 a.m.

“We understand that the close proximity to the school raises concerns,” said Surrey RCMP Cpl. Vanessa Munn.
