Homicide investigators have released video footage of two people believed to have ties to a deadly daylight shooting in North Vancouver on Friday in the parking lot of a busy Superstore.
Milad Rahimi was shot to death outside the grocery store on Seymour Boulevard. The 34-year-old had ties to gangs and police have said it does not appear to be a random shooting.

The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team says the suspect vehicle is a dark blue Mazda 3 that had stolen license plates. It was found on fire Saturday evening on Tempe Crescent, not far from the corner of Lonsdale Avenue and E 29th Street.
“The driver of the Mazda 3 was described as wearing the following: A black hoodie, gray pants with either patchwork or a torn pattern, black shoes, wearing a medical mask, and carrying a grey backpack with a single strap,” said Det. Cpl. Sukhi Dhesi.
“The passenger exiting the Mazda 3 is described as wearing the following: A three-quarter-length black jacket with a hood. The jacket had a very distinct white symbol on the left shoulder, grey pants, and black shoes.”
If you recognize these people or saw them on Friday or Saturday, you’re asked to call IHIT right away.
Investigators are also asking for any dashcam or CCTV footage from the area by the Superstore on Friday between 2:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m., or from the area of Tempe Crescent on Saturday between 6:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. to turn it in as evidence.
