At least two railcars on a Canadian National Railway (CN) train have derailed in North Vancouver Sunday night.

CN confirms the railcars contain solid sulfur and some of the material leaked onto CN property.

There is no danger to the public at this point and it’s not clear what caused the derailment.

The Squamish Nation confirms the incident – adding there will be noise disruptions through the night – as repairs continue.

A chain-link fence was damaged and broken glass was also seen at the derailed section.

This is a developing story. More to come.
