Man found dead in Surrey, homicide investigators called in

Homicide investigators have been called in after a person was found dead in a Surrey alley Friday morning.

Surrey RCMP say they were called to the Newton area at about 7:45 a.m., with people reporting someone sleeping in an alleyway on 64 Avenue near 130 Street.

When first responders arrived, they found the man was dead.

The death is considered suspicious, but few other details have been provided.
