The Musqueam Nation’s colours will be front and centre during the Vancouver Canucks’ warm-up this Wednesday.
The Canucks have unveiled its latest warm up jersey, designed by Musqueam artist Chase Gray. Inspired by traditional Coast Salish art, it incorporates three Musqueam colours: tumuth, sunset yellow, and black.
The jersey also includes “Every Child Matters” shoulder patches in honour and memory of residential school survivors and to acknowledge continued work toward truth and reconciliation.
