Grouse Grind Trail finally reopens
Metro Vancouver has given the all-clear for the Grouse Grind hiking trail to reopen on Saturday after an extended closure.
The well-loved trail, known as Mother Nature’s Stairmaster, will be open 7 a.m. until 7 p.m., seven days a week.
Hikers can only go up the trail, however, and will have to buy a ticket for the Grouse Mountain Resort Skyride to make their descent.

The lower section of Grouse Mountain’s BCMC Trail is currently undergoing maintenance and will be closed Monday through Friday until it reopens July 1. Hikers can still tackle the whole trail on weekends and statutory holidays, but they are advised to use extra caution when walking through the construction area.
