Killarney Secondary School in East Vancouver was evacuated Wednesday morning after a bear spray attack inside.
Police say they were called to the school near 49th Avenue and Kerr Street shortly after 9 a.m.
Vancouver police believe teens from another school are responsible for the attack.
“Investigators believe two teenaged suspects, who do not attend Killarney, entered the school just after 9 a.m. and attempted to assault a male student. The suspects deployed bear spray then fled in a vehicle,” the VPD said in a statement.
