Coquitlam shooting sends two to hospital: RCMP

Two people are in the hospital after a shooting near Burquitlam Station in Coquitlam.
RCMP were called to Clarke Road and Hobbis Way around 7:43 p.m. where officers found a man and woman suffering from gunshot wounds.
They were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

“The suspect(s) in this shooting have not been located or identified at this time,” said a police statement.
“The investigation is still in its infancy and the motive of the shooting is not yet known,” they added.
RCMP are asking people to avoid the area.
