88-year-old man with dementia missing in West Vancouver

West Vancouver Police are calling on the public to help find a missing 88-year-old man with dementia.

Frank Paul Thursday around 2:00 pm when he walked away from his wife near the West Vancouver Memorial Library near W 62nd Avenue and Marine Drive.

“WVPD investigators and Mr. Paul’s family are concerned for his well-being and are asking anyone with information to contact police immediately,” police say in a statement.

Paul is described as 5’11” tall, slim, 185 lbs. with white hair. He was last seen wearing a navy-blue jacket and sweatpants. He was wearing runners that may be dark in colour.

The 88-year-old walks regularly but police say “it is unusual for him to wander away from his family.”
