Team Canada wins 2022 Celebration of Light

Did you catch Team Canada’s offering at the Celebration of Light last week? If so, you witnessed the winning fireworks show!
Yukon-based Midnight Sun Fireworks wowed the crowd on July 27 in their festival debut. They beat out teams from Japan and Spain.

The 30th edition of the annual fireworks series was expected to be the largest public gathering in Vancouver since the pandemic began.
Across three nights, the event brought around 1.3 million people to English Bay.
