You’ll need to find another way around if you want to take Highway 1 through the Fraser Canyon.
A mudslide that came down Wednesday night has closed the highway between Spences Bridge and Lytton, from Highway 12 to Highway 8.
For travellers heading to the interior #BCHwy1 in the #FraserCanyon is shutdown still due to a landslide yesterday. It’s closed from #BCHwy12 #Lytton to #BCHwy8 #SpencesBridge until further notice. #1130Traffic @CityNewsVAN @JACK969van @sonicradio pic.twitter.com/qWei65R9Ei

Crews are working to clear the debris, though it’s unclear when the route may reopen.
DriveBC says an assessment is in progress.
The Coquihalla, Highway 12, and Highway 99 remain open.
