Surrey RCMP looking for rightful owner of found ring

Mounties in Surrey are asking for the public’s help after a found ring was turned in by a good Samaritan earlier this year.

RCMP say on April 24 a person brought in a ring to the Newton RCMP station, which he found near King George Boulevard and Hall Road.

So far, no one has claimed the ring, RCMP add.

The ring is described as gold Cartier 52, with a diamond on the outside and an inscription on the inside.

“The rightful owner will be required to prove ownership of the ring by providing police with the details of inscription as well as any other identifying marks,” said a RCMP statement.

Police say anyone who believes this is their ring, to contact Surrey RCMP at 604-599-0502 and quote the Surrey file number 2022-58305.
