Canada-wide warrants issued for Colony Farm patients

Canada-wide warrants have been issued for two men who failed to return to the Colony Farm Forensic Psychiatric Hospital in Coquitlam.

Mounties say Eric Sabbadin and Michael Gardner are unlawfully at large. They were both “reported overdue” Sunday night.

Two separate releases were issued for the men, and it’s unclear if they are believed to be together.

According to the RCMP, 21-year-old Sabbadin was reported overdue around 7:30 p.m. Thirty-nine-year-old Gardner was reported overdue shortly after, just before 8 p.m.

The RCMP notes that each man “may behave in a way that presents a risk to himself or the public.” People are warned to not approach either person if they see them and to call 9-1-1 right away.

Sabbadin is described as having short black hair, brown eyes, is 5’7″ tall, and weighs 152 lbs. He was last seen wearing a black jacket, black shirt, black pants, and white shoes. He has a scar on his left hand, Mounties say.
