It was a dramatic scene in Langley late Thursday, with a crash leaving a vehicle seriously damaged along 200th Street.
Mounties had a two-block stretch along that road between 48th and 50th avenues shut down for several hours after the driver of the car apparently lost control, slamming into a power pole around 11 p.m.
Debris from the impact covered much of the major route and yellow police tape was strung up as investigators combed the area.

A video shared with CityNews appears to show the aftermath of the crash, with neighbours attempting to help up to three people they say were trapped in the car.
It appears another vehicle may have been involved, though the RCMP has not provided any details.
It’s also unclear how serious injuries, if any, may be.
CityNews has reached out to the Langley RCMP for more information.
