An Abbotsford man has been arrested and charged with attempted murder in connection with an incident involving a train.
The Abbotsford Police Department says officers were called late Tuesday around 10:50 p.m. to an active rail line along Gladys Avenue and Essedene Avenue for reports of a man being held in front of an approaching train car.
The operator of the rail equipment car applied the emergency breaks and was able to stop just short of the victim, police say.
